Moonstone diatomite is a unique natural mineral rock, formed from the fossilized remains of aquatic organisms. Thanks to its highly porous structure, diatomite stone can absorb up to 150% of its weight in moisture, giving it a high absorbency capacity. Its near-instant drying prevents the proliferation of bacteria and mold, while eliminating unpleasant odors.

Gentle Cleaning
To preserve the diatomite surface of your Moonstone, use a sponge or cloth lightly dampened with water and a neutral soap. Absolutely avoid abrasive brushes, corrosive products, or overly vigorous scrubbing, which could damage the diatomite stone. If residue builds up, simply soak it in hot water, scrub it, and rinse thoroughly.

Natural Drying
After cleaning, let your Moonstone air dry without any intervention. Thanks to the natural drying properties of diatomite, your accessory will quickly regain its dry texture and optimal absorbency.

Essential Precautions
To ensure the longevity of your Moonstone, never immerse it completely in water. Full immersion could saturate the material, compromising its performance and structural integrity. Always opt for surface cleaning.

Stubborn Stains
To clean an ingrained stain on your Moonstone diatomite product, apply a little white vinegar directly to the affected area. Let it sit for a few minutes to dissolve the residue, then simply rinse with clear water.
